Bijlsma Hercules, in collaboration with Dick Klok Mechanisatie in Poortvliet, has delivered a receiving hopper (model BSB 6124 XL) to a customer in Tholen Zeeland.
The receiving hopper is provided with a fixed kink, which breaks the product flow in the kink and as a result of which a better and more constant dosing to the soil sieve device is realized. A rubber strip under the front of the hopper frame prevents product from getting under the hopper.
This soil extractor device is equipped with PU (plastic) rollers, the speed of which can be continuously changed by means of frequency converters. In addition, an option has been built in, the so-called turbo clean, which ensures that the rollers clean themselves at high speed. This will be done against the product direction, so that the caked soil is thrown back to the hopper instead of the product conveyor.
Markings have been made in the side plates of the soil extractor to indicate the size of the penetration. The fall-through is a separation between larger and smaller products and is determined by the space between the rollers. The user determines this separation himself by changing the space between the roles.
